Ma mère à un peu du mal avec mon scrapbooking
Je sais que le scrapbooking n'est pas pour tout le monde.
Moi par exemple, je n'aime pas faire la cuisine et pourtant il y a beaucoup des gens, qui vivent que pour ça. Mais ce que je trouve un peu surprenant, c'est que ma propre mère trouve "ce découpage des photos" inaccaptable. Alors j'était très surprise, quand elle m'a demandé de faire un album sur son jardin pour son anniversaire en décembre. Sa meilleure copine a récemment admiré mon travail et je me demande, si ça n'a pas joué un role?
Cette fois, j'ai choisis le format 20 sur 20 et je me suis interdit de couper une seule photo!

I know that for scrapbookers it is almost unbelievable that there are people on this planet, who are not infected with the scrapbooking virus. Which is ok! I mean - I, for example, hate cooking! And there are certainly thousands of people out there ,who love to do just that. As I said, it's ok - I can live with that. What I find a bit difficult, is, that my own Mum finds the idea of cutting photos in "bits an pieces" as she sais, not acceptable.
Well, may be you can imagine how surprised I was, when a couple of weeks ago she sent me photos from her garden, whith the request of making an album for her birthday in december. I should not worry. She has copies of the pictures, so I could cut them apart to my hearts content!!!??? Might her decision of having an album made for her, have something to do with the fact, that he best friend was over the moon about my scrapbooking album? Well, whichever way: this was a challenge.
How to make an album that would be pleasing to my Mum's critical eye. And I decided, that I would not cut up one single photo. So I finished all the pages and will try to make the cover soon. I chose the 8X8 format, which was new to me, but a lot of fun...
